Post-doctoral position open at INSERM U970 PARCC-HEGP, Paris
The team 5 ”Immuno-metabolic mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases” is welcoming applications from a postdoctoral candidate to participate to join an ANR-sponsored research project on “Exploration and modulation of myeloid cell function in aortic aneurysm pathophysiology”. Our ambitious projects cover multidisciplinary approaches of immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, animal modeling and experimental therapeutics.
The position is available for 3 years.
Environment : The host team is located on the Paris Cardiovascular Research Center (PARCC), with strong links to Hôpital Européen G. Pompidou. The laboratory provides state-of-the-art facilities for cellular and molecular biology, including imaging and an outstanding mouse facility.
Candidates : The highly motivated applicants are expected to have a strong background in cellular biology and mouse models. We look for curious and enthusiastic candidates, eager to work in a collaborative team. Prior experience international experience will constitute an advantage. Proven ability to identify research objectives, self-motivation, flexibility, and assistance to others ongoing research works are essential.
